The Role

• Leading and supervising your shift
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered
• Administering and recording medication
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
• Working closely with the leadership team to develop services
• Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times

About You

SVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable or willing to work towardsBe well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.

Proven ability to lead and supervise others.

A good understanding of care planning processesBe experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication

Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.

Caledonian Court is a spacious, purpose-built care home in Larbert, near to Falkirk in Scotland.

We provide specialist nursing and respite care for older people living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

We also offer supportive and sensitive end of life care.

Our approach focuses on respect and individuality we put residents' needs first and make them feel a valued member of our family here.

Our warm, friendly team encourages each person to continue making their own decisions and to be involved in the day-to-day life of the home.
