Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? The Primary team at Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants looking for a change or to get back into the Teaching profession to work in great schools that we support in the Newcastle area.

We are searching for dedicated and passionate educators who can inspire and guide students to thrive and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in delivery of educational activities and lessons
  • Promoting positive behaviour management within the classroom
  • Helping to create engaging and interactive learning resources
  • Conduct one-to-one and small group sessions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is desirable.
  • Passion for supporting the educational and social development of primary school children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Must be a UK resident with all right to work documents
  • DBS registered
  • Good literacy / Numeracy skills
  • Frist aid trained

Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NVQ)
  • Level 2 or equivalent (desirable)

Hours: 8:30 – 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
