Teaching AssistantCompetitive rates of payImmediate or September startIdeal for a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching AssistantA Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.This will be a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post. Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situationsWorking with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified Leading small group sessions and interventions Attending to students' personal needs when requiredSupporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policyUndertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when neededThe rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. The SchoolAn 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.In terms of career progression for staff, the school is second to none, offering opportunities that allow each member of the team to reach their maximum potential.
