At Teaching Personnel, we are collaborating closely with a school in Eccles who are actively seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can support Key Stage 1 students.

This is an exciting opportunity to anyone who wants to work in a school that prides themselves in delivering enriched, inclusive, and engaging education to their pupils.

The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2024).

The school have commented on the successful applicant coming into school beforehand for scheduled handover days (availability dependent), this would ensure a smooth transition for the pupil as well as relevant information to be communicated prior to the start date

 

The Role:

 

-          Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects.

 

-          Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 students.

 

-          Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

 

-          Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

 

Requirements:

 

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

-          Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.

 

-          Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and methods to support this

 

-          Relevant qualifications or training in education or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
