Teaching Assistant in Coventry

ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School in Coventry.

The role A well-established school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a school supporting students aged four to nineteen on a small group or one-to-one basis.

As the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure the children’s development is tracked and monitored, creating a fun and innovative curriculum based on the children’s interests.

Requirements As the suitable candidate you will: Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.

Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.

Be confident in your abilities and skills to deal with occasional behavioural challenges.

Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
