Exciting Opportunity: Teaching Assistant Position in Boston and Surrounding Areas

We have established relationships with dozens of schools across the Boston area, and we are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of children.

Experience in working with children is desirable, but we welcome individuals with transferable skills and the right attitude, including career changers!

Classroom Duties:

  • Working to ensure students receive an inclusive education with 1:1 support based on their individual social, educational, and intellectual needs.
  • Maintaining the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Contributing to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Communicating knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff.
  • Demonstrating positive attitudes, values, and behaviors consistent with the role and in line with expectations.
  • Promoting, supporting, and facilitating inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • Providing teaching and learning support, including the use of appropriate technical resources.
  • Supporting students with SEN and additional needs.

 

Typical Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.

07% statutory holiday pay.
