LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Coventry who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to start September, supporting the school on a Long term basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
- Differentiating lesson content to meet a wide range of students needs and abilities
- Delivering KS4 examination content in line with the school examination board
- Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
- Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with special educational needs
- Attending weekly department meetings to help drive forward the schools attainment levels
Candidate Requirements:
- Holds qualified teacher status (NQTs Welcome)
- Is confident teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum Including GCSE statistics.
- Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies
- Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make continued progress
- Is a good team player and willing to work cohesively with the departmental and pastoral team
