Teacher of Art & Design Technology required. * Starting September 2024 * Full time 5 days a week * Outstanding secondary school * MAT cover * Fixed-term contract * Salary: MPS * Macclesfield area * Suitable for ECTsPremier Education is currently working on behalf of an outstanding secondary school in the Macclesfield area that is looking to appoint a Teacher of Art & Design Technology starting in September on a fixed term, full-time contract for 1 year.The role would require the candidate to teach Art & Design Technology on a fixed term, full-time, 1 year contract (Maternity cover). The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Art & Design Technology up to GCSE.The successful candidate must be able to teach across the age and ability range in Art & Design at Key Stages 3 & GCSE as well as Design Technology at Key Stage 3.The successful candidate will: * Be an excellent practitioner with the commitment and motivation to inspire pupils’ learning and development * Have high expectations of young people, and a commitment to raising standards of attainment to ensure that they can achieve their full educational potential * Have experience of enhancement of pupil progress gains and raising attainment and achievement levels of all students * Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation through imaginative and differentiated lessons which meet individual needs * Have experience of current assessment practice and the use of data and pupil progress tracking to ensure that all groups of learners achieve * Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs * Be able to build positive relationships with the class group, ensuring consistency and continuity on a daily basis. * Have the ability to foster good relationships with other staff, pupils, parents and the wider community * Be hard working, organised and proactive in their professional development * Be a team player who can work effectively with all members of the New Bridge teamPremier Education has been working with schools in and around Manchester for 22 years.
