System Engineer in England

Due to winning new projects and clients, Belcan are looking for both Permanent and Contract (Inside IR35) Systems Engineers with Hybrid working. The Systems Engineers will have a strong technical background in Aerospace or telecommunications with the management of System requirements through to compliance. They will help to assist in delivering solutions to customers and provide detailed technical guidance and the execution of requirement management plans and associated strategies. They will have a passion to help drive forward innovative ideas and follow them through to implementation, whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements.

The Systems Engineers will be involved in flight clearance strategies for new products and systems for Flight or Mission Systems. This could include:

• Software quality, safety and requirements management including Software design/Validation & Verification of complex real time safety related/critical systems.
• Integration activities for Electrical Systems Design as well as for Engine Control Systems and Display Systems and Load Management Systems.
• Production of documentation such as Test Reports, System Requirements Documentation (SRD), Interface Control Documentation (ICD), Engineering Design Requirements (EDR) and Test Requirements.

Ideally the successful Systems Engineers will be degree qualified with previous experience in the above Systems and have a proven track record in Aerospace Certification Programmes being conversant with FAA, CAA, FAR, JAR, BCAR & certification requirements, aircraft standards; DO-254, DO-178C, DO-168G & ATA 100 System.
