In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery.About the role In this role you will support the Sustainability Director in the development and execution of a sustainability strategy for Ocado, ensuring it becomes in line with industry best practise, and delivers value for the business. You will be a key member of the team gathering and analysing information to prepare the business case for change internally, and preparing materials to communicate on our sustainability goals and performance to both internal and external stakeholders (investors, customers and employees).Accountabilities

• Supporting the Sustainability Director to develop and execute the sustainability strategy for Ocado that enhances its value proposition with partners and investors
• Analysing competitor strategy & performance on sustainability
• Sourcing and analysing internal information on emerging sustainability topics - working with data owners in the businesses
• Completing sustainability surveys for our investors and partners
• Owning and managing the internal comms channels focused on sustainability and keep all content up to date as strategy and goals develop over time Sustainability Network Slack channel and internet pages Guru cards
• Preparing presentations on sustainability topics for internal governance bodies such as the Sustainability Committee and other relevant senior meetings
• Contribute toward the preparation of sustainability information that is included in Ocado's Annual Report

About you

• Highly numerate with experience doing and producing data analysis on different data sets
• Experience with using different data analysis software, platforms, methodologies
• Good communicator and ability to tell a story through data
• Innovative thinker who likes problem solving
• Highly organised with a natural ability to plan and manage a wide group of stakeholders across different levels of seniority
• Knowledge of key sustainability metrics and relevant industry standards
