Supported Housing Team Leader

Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience

Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Permanent, £28,000-32,000 per annum + plus benefits

Sellick Partnership are currently supporting the recruitment of a Supported Housing Team Leader on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be managing tenancy sustainment services for adults and young people in a hostel or community setting.

Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Team Leader include:

  • Lead the team of Tenancy Sustainment Workers, ensuring they are meeting their KPI's and giving our residents all the support they require to achieve positive outcomes, using the homelessness outcome star framework.
  • Manage the budget for your service area including staffing, equipment, funded projects etc.
  • Manage the Team Leads and work closely with the Maintenance and Domestic teams to ensure properties are both turned around quickly for new residents but also are maintained to a high standard.
  • Be pro-active in managing personal charges, housing benefit claims, occupancy, managing periods of voids and working closely with the Assessment teams to identify new suitable tenants.

Essential criteria of the Housing Services Manager:

  • Experience of working within housing management/ supported housing service
  • Knowledge of the welfare and benefits system
  • Driving license is desirable
  • DBS - enhanced
