Our client strives to live a happy, active life and your input could be invaluable!Your role would be front line support with regular contact/input from the Clinical Psychologist which in turn will help you develop your skills and gain experience to support your future career.Please note: We are not able to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.What you'll be working: * This is a zero-hour contract with regular shifts as below – contracted hours can be discussed after probationary period * Day shifts 8am - 11pm * Sleep Nights shifts 11pm - 8am * Split shifts can be discussed if required * Full time and Part time available, depending how many shifts you are lookingWhat you'll be doing: * Working with an experience Clinical Psychologist to support a client with an ABI * Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights * Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters but taking into consideration cognitive problems * Assist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained * Supporting the client to use local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community events * Follow the service user plan as documented for the client * Maintain accurate and confidential records * Participate in manual handling procedures as specified for the client * Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the case manager as appropriateWhat you'll have: * Full Clean Driving licence * Ability to communicate complex information to others where there may be barriers to understanding * A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Willingness to learn and develop * Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBSWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
