Cover Supervisors/ Supply Teachers, both Qualified and Un-qualified Needed in South Birmingham.
Due to a massive increased demand for professional, hard working cover staff in the area, TeacherActive are looking to recruit IMMEDIATELY for people to join the team to start after the summer break in September 2024.
TeacherActive are looking for flexible and enthusiastic cover staff for our secondary schools in the South Birmingham area.
All of the work is set by class Teachers and you will be required to follow the lesson plans and ensure behaviour and lesson disruption is at a minimum.
Qualified Teacher Status is not necessary to apply, though previous education based experience is essential.
A range of assignments/ timetables are available from long-term, full time positions to flexible day-to-day cover.

As a Cover Supervisor you will require the following:Excellent communication skills alongside good classroom managementOver 6 months experience within an educational environmentThe ability to cover a variety of subjectsGood Communication skillsA good knowledge of the National CurriculumA passion for teaching and a desire to make a differenceTeacherActive will be able to offer successful Cover Supervisor a friendly and approachable service along with the following:Competitive rates of payAn experienced consultant who will support you in your placementsIntroductions to other schools which use Cover SupervisorsAll of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
