ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.

What You’ll Do 

Manage projects and client relationships

Work with senior level clients who have broad, cross-functional responsibilities to help them make strategic choices about their business and/or transform their organization 

Lead large-scale organizational strategy and transformation initiatives to improve performance and achieve strategic goals

Lead discussions with client senior management on both client-specific matters and issues affecting the broader healthcare landscape

Communicate interrelated business issues with senior executives and align stakeholders across functions

Address situations without clear problem statements to find new solutions and/or disruptive innovation

Structure and develop client deliverables and thought leadership in PowerPoint or Word, including "telling the story” with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner

Build and nurture senior level client relationships

Drive project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings and guiding and teaching more junior team members

Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects, practices and clients

Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for project team members

Identify new business development opportunities through previous and new client relationships, and shepherd these opportunities through to proposal stage

Lead the development of clear and compelling proposals for a wide variety of business issues, working across various expertise areas within ZS and leveraging our deep domain expertise

What You’ll Bring

MBA or an advanced degree in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics, or related fields. Alternatively, candidates may possess a PhD in life sciences, health economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application

At least 4 years of post-MBA or PhD work experience; in lieu of an MBA or PhD, candidates with 7-9 years of relevant work experience in a management consulting firm may be considered

Effective oral and written communication skills that enables personal impact with senior-level decision makers

Comfortable with unstructured problem statements and situations

Exhibits strong business intuition and ability to quickly learn and shape executive agenda
