  • The role

    We have a fantastic opportunity at MAG for a Strategic Change Director, who will lead a wide range of complex transformational programmes across the organisation. As Strategic Change Director, you will drive the maturity & capability of business change within MAG, with a detailed focus on people, process and technology. Being a complex organisation as MAG is, you will ensure a seamless integration & alignment across all areas of the organisation, bringing key stakeholders together at all levels creating an appetite for change and an environment for transformation.

    With such a wide ranging role, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, leading all business change and transformation across MAG, covering Group Services and Manchester, East Midlands and London Stansted Airports
  • Leading a team of 30 with 6 direct reports, defining clear roles & responsibilities with key performance metrics & reporting
  • Owning large-scale Capex transformation initiatives, developing & executing strategic plans ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Continuously improve organisational ability to adapt to change, specifically around agility & responsiveness whilst also identifying areas for strategic enhancement, defining best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with key ExCo and SLT stakeholders to align people, process, and technology to support business objectives whilst providing detailed reporting and analysis around progress and areas of concern
  • Drive the adoption of innovative technologies & thinking and act as a true champion of transformational change
  • What will make you successful in this role?

    You will have proven experience as a strategic change leader, leading multi-million £ complex transformation programmes within large organisations. You will be an expert in change management methodologies, tools, and best practices with an in-depth knowledge of governance & operational frameworks, business processes, technologies, and their interdependencies. More importantly, you will naturally lead your teams through excellent people management skills, coaching and a motivational mindset identifying opportunities for performance improvement whilst taking your teams on a journey.
