About the role

Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, Supply and Order Management, the Sourcing Manager will operate as part of a small sourcing team responsible for managing a broad range of commodities across the Mediakind business. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services either to be delivered to Customers or for internal use within MediaKind. The holder of this position will foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, deliver solid results, drive RFPs, negotiate contractual agreements, and drive cost optimization.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with internal stakeholders e.g. HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Services to drive sourcing decisions that fully support Mediakind’s go to market and profitability goals.
• Drive, prepare and execute the Rfx process.
• Evaluate & select suppliers.
• Drive preparation, execution & finalization of negotiations with suppliers with regard to price and contract. Award business to suppliers.
• Manage key supplier relationships.
• Ensure implementation of supplier agreements.
• Endorse relevant category strategies and preferred supplier lists through active participation in sales and project forums.
• Develop the long-term business for the specific product, license, or service.
• Provide feedback on project status and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Leverage the capabilities of current and new tools and develop excellent reporting capabilities.
• Linked to the above, ensure MediaKind Global Sourcing process is followed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of working in Sourcing in a fast paced and project driven organisation.
• Educated to Degree Level / CIPS qualified.
• Must be comfortable navigating industry standard tools and reporting systems.
• A good level of financial literacy.
• A working knowledge of SAP or NetSuite would be an advantage.
