Overview: Tiro Partners are seeking Software Engineers (Contract & Permanent) to further bolster our clients expanding team. On this project you’ll help prototype future cockpit and avionics designs, developing the Project X Active Cockpit simulator.
Candidates must be eligible for full unrestricted UK security clearance (sole UK nationals only).
Responsibilities:
- Develop software for the Project X Active Cockpit simulator
- Own requirements, design, implementation, and testing
- Integrate COTS hardware/software and design technical solutions
- Produce technical documentation and manage technical risk
- Support customers and resolve system issues
- Mentor team members and refine development processes
- Develop system architectures to meet IT/security requirements
Essential Skills:
- Strong C++ programming in Visual Studio
- Knowledge and experience of UNIX / Linux / Windows
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of avionics, and mission systems
- Interest in military aircraft
