MacGregor Black are partnering with a global premium Outdoor and Sporting goods company on the search for a Software Developer .

This is a permanent remote based role, in the UK.

As the Software Developer , you will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and maintaining Business Central solutions tailored to meet our clients' unique business requirements.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable and sustainable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to meet client specifications and requirements.
• Design and implement enhancements, modifications, and integrations to existing Business Central implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and propose innovative solutions to address their needs.
• Perform system configuration, data migration, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of Business Central environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other relevant technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and project team members as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/AL, AL, C#, and JavaScript.
• Experience with customization and extension development in Business Central, including the use of extensions, events, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex business requirements.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate are advantageous.
