Location: Manchester

This is a full-time in office role.

The office is located next to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Implement the paid social media strategy for a portfolio of key brands (journals, initiatives, corporate).

Provide support and training to others across the business on social media best practice.

Weekly monitoring and monthly reporting of campaign performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio and others across the business.

Develop and implement key corporate projects, campaigns and content

Population of weekly content calendar.

Profile:

Academic degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising (or related).

2+ years’ experience of coordinating social media or digital marketing activities for business.

Good knowledge of key social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Other channels a plus.

Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager. Other Ad Managers a plus.

Knowledge of other social media and digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Brandwatch, Sprout and Google Ads would be advantageous.

Good understanding of brand, communication, and digital marketing principles.

Excellent English language skills (written and spoken), other language skills are beneficial.

Good organizational, analytical and prioritization abilities.

Interest in science and science communications.
