Site Manager in Peterborough

Red Sky Personnel is looking for a Site Manager to join one of the largest civil engineering contractors and oversee projects within the East of England. Now working on major AMP 7 frameworks, you will be part of a team working towards delivering an approximate £1.3bn programme.Location: Anglian Water RegionPackage: Up to £52k + car/car allowance + excellent benefitsThe Role:You’ll lead supervisors, delivery teams and subcontractors ensuring resources are utilised to an optimum level to meet budgets and delivery programmes to the highest quality and safety standards. * Provide active positive leadership of Health & Safety on site to support and continue the industry-leading low incident frequency rate we have * Responsible for driving cultural change into the Delivery/Design Teams to eliminate/minimise physical and nonphysical waste – i.e., recycling techniques and standing time etc * Oversee the management of site-based Supervisors, Delivery Teams, and relevant areas of the supply chain to drive the timely completion of projects, safely and within budget * Ensure all initiatives are supported and implemented with minimal disruption by understanding preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions * Proactively maintain all key site documentation including Health & Safety, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, site changes and contracts * Specify procurement requirements of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors using an appropriate financial management accounting system * Participate in collaborative planning and project rehearsals to ensure optimal buildability at the design stage.Qualifications required: * SMSTS * CSCS Card Managers * Water (Water Recycling would be advantageous), Mechanical and Electrical/ Construction industry experience. * SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) * First Aid at Work course * Fire MarshallPlease apply with an up-to-date CV and a member of our team will reach out to you
