Site Manager in Oxford

Location: Northwest UK (WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION) Banner Lane is recruiting a Site Lead / Manager on behalf a leading provider of cutting-edge optical systems, serving the Aerospace, Defence and Life Sciences sectors.

Our client is dedicated to delivering precision solutions for applications such as sighting systems, intelligence and reconnaissance imaging, and satellite laser communications.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Lead to oversee the operations of our client's critical facility in the Northwest UK.

As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of optical systems projects.

Key Responsibilities: * Site Management: Oversee the overall management and operation of the site, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

* Project Delivery: Lead the Programme Management team to deliver optical systems projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Resource Management: Optimise resource allocation to meet project timelines and identify any additional resource or skill set requirements.

* Financial Management: Oversee the site's management accounts and financial operations.

* Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction.

* Talent Development: Foster a positive working environment and support talent management, development, and succession planning activities.

* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Qualifications and Experience: * Degree in a relevant technical, science, engineering, or business discipline.

* Proven track record in driving growth, design-ins, and executing on commercial programs.

* Strong understanding of optical systems technology and commercial aspects.

* Excellent program management skills, including the ability to manage complex multi-year projects.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
