Site EngineerBased in Rotherham9 months contract (potential of extension)£350 – 400 per dayWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to work on a long term contract (rolling contract basis). The client is requiring a Site/Setting Out Engineer on a long-term infrastructure project, the company is a market leader and involved with major projects across the United Kingdom. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure all permits ready for site work to commenceEnsure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completedSetting out and surveyingManaging subcontractorsManage distribution of informationWrite and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the worksLiaising with the client and other key stakeholdersChecking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistenciesLiaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible.REQUIREMENTS:Worked on heavy civil projects, earthworks and M&E worksHighway experience beneficialCat & Genny trainingPrevious Tier 1 contractor experienceCSCS CardConfident at setting out on site and producing QA reports, completing engineering documentationHold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal experienceIf you are interested the please do upload your most up to date copy of your CV and one of the team will be in touch.“VGC Personnel are acting as an employment business for this vacancy
