Site Engineer in South East

We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor. Our client is renowned for their excellence and innovation in the industry, and we are assisting them in finding talented and motivated Site Engineers for their United Utilities Water Frameworks in the South East region.Role OverviewAs a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects under the United Utilities Water Frameworks. You will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Assist in the planning and execution of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Technical Oversight: Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications. Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling tasks.Quality Assurance: Monitor and report on the quality of work performed. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards.Coordination: Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality assurance documentation.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues onsite, providing innovative solutions to ensure project milestones are met. Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Experience working on UU Water FrameworksTechnical Skills: Proficient in using surveying equipment and CAD software.
