Site Engineer - Civils in Wapping

An organically growing niche Civil Contractor is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to initially support with a high-profile project in central London.  Working from river and shore, you'll gain unique technical experience including working with floating plant, barges and specialist diving activities.Why might you want to consider this position? You'd be on a first name basis with everyone in the business, including the CEO The working environment and culture is as far from a corporate as you can get (feel free to bring your dog to work!)With their planned growth, there is real opportunity for you to quickly progress to Site AgentYou'd gain unique engineering experience  As a niche and highly specialised Marine civil contractor, they offer a unique service to their client base which sits across both the Public and Private Sectors, including high net worth individuals. Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, they delivery design & build projects up to around £12M in value. They excel at winning work by offering alternate technical solutions and add further value through the ECI process. On completion of this project, the intention will be for you to support with ongoing works along the Thames or alternatively move to one of their other larger projects in Suffolk or Hampshire. As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for:Instrumentation and monitoringKeeping up to date with construction drawingsManaging the quality and health & safetyResolving technical problemsAssisting with RAMS and other site paperwork  For you to be successful in this position, you will:Hold demonstrable experience in delivering civil engineering projects, with values more than £3MBe educated to HND or Degree (or equivalent) level in Civil EngineeringIdeally have experience of working on Marine or wet civils projects.
