We are working with an SME company within a niche sector, who are looking for a Site Engineer to join their team. The Site Engineer will be based in the Midlands area and will be required to travel around the UK, with overnight stays required. All tools, a laptop, a mobile phone, PPE, and a van will be supplied by the company. You will be supporting the installation and maintenance of various systems. Job Description for the Site Engineer: The Site Engineer will be supporting an existing team of Engineers to work on projects of various sizes, with also some aspects of lone working. Duties include: Carry out installation, commission, and operational qualification testing within the timescales and budget Carry out calibration and validation, and comparison calibration to ISO procedure – completion of annual calibration Carry out routine and emergency service Diagnose and fault-find breakdowns Undertake on-call duties on a rota basis once fully trained Complete site documentation and return to the office Complete site surveys and prepare quotations for new/existing systems Contribute to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 continuous improvement ethos It would be good to see Site Engineers with the following: Previous experience as a Site/Field Engineer is essential Aptitude to pick up new software packages quickly Must be able to commit to regular overnight stays Be proactive within this busy role Persistence and resilience under pressure High level of customer focus Willingness to complete training and learn new skills Hours 38.5 hours per week (but they usually work around 42-46 hours per weekSalary: £28,000 -OTE £30,000 - £32,000 Per AnnumBrampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
