Freelance Site Engineer - Highways (South of Birmingham) Location: South of Birmingham Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP Project Duration: Long-term placement We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a highways improvement scheme south of Birmingham. This is a key role where you'll ensure the project meets financial, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities ·Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to QHSE procedures and quality plans. ·Project Organization: Define the project structure and manage the team. ·Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage associated risks. ·Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the project schedule. ·Client Relations: Act as the company's representative with clients. Profile ·Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in highways. ·Proficient in AutoCAD, GPS systems, total station, and laser/dumpy level checks.
