Site Auditor in Birmingham

As part of our continued expansion we are looking for a field based site auditor to join the PVF team.

The PVF Head Office is based in Barnstaple in North Devon but we now have exciting plans for our site auditors to be placed across the UK as our projects span from Scotland to Southampton.

This is a fantastic time to join an expanding team with big plans for the future.

The Role

As a Site Auditor you will visit our sites and review the working practises of our contractors as they deliver multiple scaffolding projects across the country.

Day to Day you'll plan your own routes visiting our live scaffolding sites to assess the competencies and working practises of our Network.

Full training for this will be provided so if you haven't done this before, don't be alarmed.

You'll need to be personable and understanding but with and eye for detail.

You will need to hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence to be able to apply for this role.

A vehicle will be provided to you along with all relevant photography and IT equipment.

You will occasionally need to stay overnight if completing multiple out of area Audit's but this will be discussed with your line manager in advance.

Regular trips to the Barnstaple Head Office will also be required to ensure you are checking in with the wider team and being informed of onward PVF plans.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring our network operate in a compliant and safe way across our sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and any non-conformances.
• Monitor and assess progress, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate with site managers and scaffolding teams to address any areas of concern.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
• Assist in the development and improvement of audit procedures and processes.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
• Proficient in using auditing tools and software. (or willingness to learn)
