Job Details: Position: SIA Security Officer Location: Solihull / Sutton Coldfield / Birmingham Annual salary: £22,383 per annum (£11.45 per hour) Nights and Saturday: £16.14 Sunday: £20.95 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Days, Nights, and Weekends Enhanced Rates of Pay: Weekdays (8pm - 6am) and Saturdays: Time plus 41% Sundays and Public Holidays:** Time plus 83% Your Time at Work As an SIA Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing three NHS hospitals in Birmingham. You will: - Work as part of a team to manage security across different sites - Utilise keen conflict management skills to de-escalate incidents - Interact with staff and the public, ensuring adherence to security protocols - Patrol premises, monitor car parks, and assist with emergency situations - Conduct searches and monitor CCTV cameras - Liaise with internal security teams and emergency services when necessary Our Perfect Worker - Must be over 18 years of age - Valid Door Supervisor SIA License - Minimum 1 year of experience in the security industry - Own transport and a fully clean UK driving license - Basic IT skills and understanding of smart mobile use - Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including days, nights, and weekends - Experience working security in healthcare is desirable - Knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding is desirable Key Information and Benefits - 5.6 weeks paid holiday (including 8 days in lieu of bank holidays, subject to shift pattern and accrual) - Workplace pension scheme - Life assurance benefit - Financial support for SIA License & renewal - Contributory Healthcare Scheme - Eyecare vouchers - Employee Discount Schemes - Progression, training & development opportunities - Refer a friend scheme - Free uniform provided Why Join Us?
