Service Manager in Wrockwardine

Role: Service ManagerLocation: West MidlandsSector: Automation MachinerySalary: £35,000 - £45,000Working Hours: Monday – Friday DAYS  Owen Daniels Consultancy has engaged with a key client and an established Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the Recycling industry, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join on a permanent basis.The Service Manager will be required to ensure there is a smooth operation of the service department within the workshop and site work.  Key Responsibilities:To control, direct, programme and generally supervise the Service Engineers – assisting with Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical queries when necessary.Prepare all quotations for Service Work required by customers or the sales department.Visit customers sites when required for both the service and sales team.Assist with customer queries wherever possible via the telephone.Process the service engineer’s time sheets.Allocate all costs to customers job and ensure all invoice requirements from service visits are cleared monthly. Key Skills & Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.A minimum of 5 years as Service Manager or experience in a similar role.Experience with Mechanical / Hydraulics.Strong technical, problem solving and communications skills.Knowledge of PLCs (Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Fanuc).Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices. Benefits:25 days holiday + 8 BH.Pension Scheme.Training and Development opportunities.OT paid at a premium. If you could be interested in the role as a Service Manager, please apply with your latest CV, Salary expectation and availability as soon as possible.
