The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that Hometrack’s top tier customers are receiving an excellent service experience across all products and services they receive from us. You will have service delivery management responsibilities for nominated major customers, as well as broader responsibility for improving and maturing the Service Delivery Management function in Hometrack. This will include defining what good looks like and gaining buy in from internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be curious, proactive and customer-focused, have exceptional organisational and communication skills, and a willingness to dive into the details when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a direct Service Delivery Manager for nominated major customers:
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Run regular service and usage reporting reviews
  • Track performance against contractual SLAs and agreed KPIs, defining and driving service improvement plans
  • Incident management
  • Manage the monthly release and testing process with the customer, outside of new project work
  • Customer escalation point
  • Work as part of a small team of Service Delivery Managers (currently only one other Service Delivery Manager, with a view to growing the team when Hometrack acquires new top tier customers), to define and execute a roadmap of service delivery practice improvements.
  • Working with the central shared-service 1st line support team, defining KPIs that meet the business need, and taking responsibility for those KPIs being met.
  • Coordinate an effective support process between 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, acting as an escalation point where required, taking direct ownership of any items that threaten to fall between the cracks.
  • Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process for all change cycles, approving only those submissions that are assessed as acceptable to the Service Delivery Management standards and KPIs.
  • Implement and maintain appropriate process service documentation
  • Contribute to and drive progress against the service delivery management improvement roadmap, agreeing initiative prioritisation in line with company strategic priorities, driving implementation and reporting progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Essential

  • Experience in service management, customer service, project management or similar role where there has been extended exposure to truly excellent service management
  • Strong working knowledge of change & release management best practice, along with the confidence to assess (and where necessary argue against) any deviation from approved process
  • Experience working with complex systems with integrations across multiple organisations
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to adjust style and approach to each audience
  • Team spirit and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional customer service and organisational skills
  • Self-directed and keen to learn new skills and technologies
  • Confident and effective problem solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Jira, AzureDevOps or other backlog management and ticket tracking software
  • Desirable

  • Experience in Financial Services (Mortgage, Property, Banking), specifically property valuation or mortgage journey related software.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles
  • Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
