Fidarsi are delighted to be exclusively assisting this growing Internationally focused Fintech in helping to find a Senior Finance Systems Accountant. Working within the Finance Systems team (under the Finance Transformation Umbrella) the role will involve upgrading and maintaining the Finance and Treasury systems suite, support their users including the Purchase Ledger system, Expense system, General ledger, trading platforms and supporting SQL databases.

You will be comfortable working alongside the Finance Systems Manager to manage the prepaid card programme and to support multiple tactical and strategic projects.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven finance systems skills (including the usage of the system SUN / Oracle or similar GL system), and a proven track record in the configuration, maintenance and administration of accounting and reporting systems.
• Extensive experience of interfacing between the GL system and supporting trading/source systems.
• Experience of working within financial services and regulated entities.
• Experience of end-to-end process flows and data quality management of FX or volume payments processes or wholesale banking physical notes business preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with large data reconciliations and posting journals.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced finance environment.

• MS packages specifically Excel (including pivot tables) or equivalent is essential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good analytical abilities, with an enquiring mind.
• Robust, capable of clearly and strongly articulating position.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think analytically and work methodically in a high performing team.
