Senior Support Worker in Sale

Job Description Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as Senior Support Worker with Trafford Council Trafford Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities To supervise Support Workers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that services provided by the team are of a consistently high quality, ensuring good continuity of care and adhering to the guidelines of best practice.

To allocate work to Support Workers on a daily basis by effectively co-coordinating all available resources appropriately to ensure the efficient and effective running of the service.

To support the Deputy Managers and Manager to ensure the safe working practices are adhered to at all times, promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and Service Users.

This includes carrying out and reviewing risk assessments within required timescales.

To liaise and communicate effectively with other professionals, Service Users and their families / carers / representatives / advocates as appropriate; so as to ensure a smooth transition through the service and achieve best possible outcomes for the individual.

To ensure that Service Users are fully included in any decisions made in relation to the service they receive.

Essential Criteria NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care within 2 years of commencement date.

Enhanced DBS required.
