Senior Social Worker - Assessment Team in St Helens

Sirona Medical are recruiting a Senior Social Worker for the Assessment Team for a Local Authority in Merseyside.

Job Role: The vacancy is within Assessment Team 3 which is a fully staffed team consisting of Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager and 6 SWs.

This is a temporary vacancy which has been filled by an agency SW who is leaving for personal reasons.

The SW Assessment Service receives work from our Duty Service and provides longer term support to children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and Children we Look After plans.

Children subject to pre-proceedings, private proceedings and care proceedings are predominantly located within the service.

Social Workers have an average caseload of between 20 - 22 children with a mix of CIN, CP and CWLA.

Sirona Medical will be supplying the Social Worker on an agency contract. 

This is a full time agency position. 

As a Social Worker, you must have a degree in Social Work, recent frontline experience, Social Work England Registation.
