Senior Risk Analyst in Lincolnshire

Location: Northeast Lincolnshire (Hybrid)

Salary: up to £40,000 (DOE)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst who will deliver crucial analytical insights into customer behaviour. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping and refining the company's credit and affordability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance risk scorecards and affordability models using statistical techniques.
• Lead documentation and delivery of models, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Analyse customer behaviour data to provide insights for credit and affordability strategies.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate risk insights into overall strategies.
• Utilise internal and external data sources, including CRAs, for model development and validation.
• Monitor model performance and suggest optimizations.
• Provide expertise on credit risk and affordability to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects enhancing risk management capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in credit risk management and strategy development within consumer lending.
• Experience developing and implementing risk scorecards and machine learning models using SAS/Python/R.
• Proven experience of translating complex methodologies and principles into meaningful insight for senior leadership and other non-technical stakeholders.
