Senior Residential Support WorkerLocation: OldhamContract: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time options available)Hours: Approximately 40 hours per weekSalary: £14 per hourSleep-In Rate: £65 per nightBenefits: 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), career progression opportunities, and additional benefits.Role Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Oldham. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will lead by example, supporting the team in maintaining the highest care standards.Key Responsibilities: * Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people. * Work closely with the Deputy and Manager to ensure smooth operation and compliance with Ofsted standards. * Act as a key worker, delivering tailored care based on individual needs. * Assist with daily activities, including personal care, cooking, and managing pocket money. * Support children's education and learning activities. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. * Lead on health and safety, ensuring a safe environment for all. * Be available for on-call duties as needed. * Administer medication as required.Team Responsibilities: * Guide and support team members, fostering a positive and accountable culture. * Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment. * Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive work setting.Essential Qualifications and Experience: * Experience: Proven experience in a residential care setting, particularly working with children or young people.
