Role: Senior Practitioner Location: South Lanarkshire Service: Autism Support Salary: £33,000 - £36,500 Reporting to the Services Manager, this role is to support practitioner teams to deliver high quality support to autistic individuals.
Key Responsibilities: * To lead and develop both autism services and team practitioners to deliver the highest quality of support in line with Care Inspectorate and SSSC * Ensure a supported care environment, meeting each individuals care needs and health and social care standards.
* Staff management - ensure staff are trained to be able to achieve short term and long term objectives, rotas, support with disciplinaries where necessary, identify areas for improvement and contribute in 1:1 meetings * Provide on call support * Financial management and budget monitoring * Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Carry out audits Requirements/Experience * SVQ4 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) and Leadership and Management certificate * A strong understanding and knowledge of autism * Experience in management or a team leader role * Rota management * IT skills Role is subject to PVG disclosure check.
