Join us as our new Senior Occupational Therapist working across three complex care services within the North East!

Asa SeniorOccupationalTherapist,youllplayavital role in supporting us to achieve our mission of makingevery day betterfor adults living with complex needs.

Youll provide a high quality occupational therapyserviceforthepeople inyour homes,tomaximisetheirindependenceand empower them to live their best lives.

Youll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high quality therapy and rehabilitation.

About the role

Inthisrole,youllprovidespecialistassessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to help people overcome the challenges they face withcompletingeverydaytasksoractivities.

Youll work with the wider Care Team and Clinical Team to create person-centred care plans,supportpeopletoachievetheirgoalsand evaluate their outcomes.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • being responsiblefor a clinical caseload
  • working alongsidethe people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centredoccupational therapy interventions
  • leading and collaboratingclosely with the Therapy Team (Junior Physiotherapists, Junior Occupational Therapists andTherapyAssistantsinyour homes
  • carrying outassessments
  • maintainingaccurate records for people receivingoccupationaltherapy
  • promotingchoice, dignity and independence.
