Senior laboratory analyst This is a permanent opportunity paying negotiable salary with added benefits.
Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a food testing laboratory based in Cambridgeshire Responsibilities:Analysing soil and water samples using analytical techniques such as GC-MS, GC-QQQ, LC-QQQ and LC-MSAnalysing environmental samples using analytical techniques Analysis and investigation of results Provide training to junior staff membersRoutine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Work according to ISO17025 guidelines To undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility requested by a senior managersQualifications:Degree in chemistry or equivalentPrevious experience in working within an accredited laboratory such UKAS laboratoryPrevious experience in using analytical techniques such as GC-MS, GC-QQQ, LC-QQQ and LC-MSIs essentialPrevious experience in working within a food chemistry testing laboratory is highly desiredExcellent communication and written skillsIf you are interested in this role, please apply now
