We are hiring a Senior Internal Communications Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Principality Building Societys internal communication strategies. Our Senior Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for innovation, strategy, stakeholder management and leadership of our Internal comms, virtual and face to Face. In this role you will need to ensure that the right channels are in place to inform and engage all colleagues; and they will demonstrate via a comprehensive measurement strategy how the team is adding value.

On occasion the Senior Internal Communications Manager will need to deputise for our Head of Communications, so its integral that you have;

Business partnering to Executive level

Communications strategy experience in a complex, matrix-based organisation

Experience in change management communication and navigating complex organisational structures

Delivery of engagement strategy

Creating, producing and editing multi-media content such as video and podcasts

Proficient in using internal communication tools and technologies

Ghost writing and script writing

Keen understanding of audience segmentation and tailoring messages

The Senior Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for:

Developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies aligned with organisational objectives.

Leading the communication plans of organisational change initiatives, ensuring colleagues are informed, engaged, and prepared for change.

Actively seek out external best practice and new ideas to help shape the future agenda and develop Internal Comms as a centre of excellence in line with the corporate comms strategic operating model

Act as brand ambassador for Corporate Communications both in terms of team reputation and standard of communications produced

Lead the development, oversight and implementation of business-wide campaigns to inform and drive cultural strategic and behavioural change

Providing strategic counsel to leaders on communication best practices and ensure their alignment with Society-wide messaging

Building strong, trusted relationships with the Societys Senior Leadership Team (SLT); partnering with SLT members to craft and deliver compelling messages aligning with the strategy comms plan in support of the Societys vision, values, and strategic goals.

*As this is a pivotal role, we will be holding initial phone interviews while the role is live*
