Senior Infrastructure Engineer Newcastle Salary up to £45kCalibre Search are working alongside a major UK-based multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who have been providing high-quality services to their clients for over 120 years. Their growing Newcastle office has opportunities for expansion to meet the current healthy forward workload generated by the impetus for growth in the UK within the commercial, retail, industrial and housing sectors.Due to this continued growth, their specialist Infrastructure Team are looking to add a Senior level Engineer to help provide sustainable development infrastructure solutions to mainly private sector clients in both the UK and overseas. The team also works closely with other office disciplines to provide integrated solutions on high profile multi-disciplinary projects.Experience in highway and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards is needed, together with the ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables. They currently have a varied workload ranging from large scale distribution centre developments in the commercial sector and residential schemes of varying scales, from pre-planning through to construction so you will need to show experience in highways, external works and drainage for these types of projects.As well as having the ability to manage projects, providing support, mentoring and guidance to less experienced colleagues, you will take initiative and manage your own workload/deadlines. The role will require you to review documents, designs and drawings completed by team to ensure consistent high quality and compliance with design standards, industry best practice, contractual obligations and client expectations.You will have a minimum of five years' experience with an aspiration to gain Incorporated or Chartered status and have private sector experience and a working knowledge in the use of PDS / Civil 3D, together with MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and AutoTrackThe role offers an opportunity to provide design solutions on a large portfolio of projects, and to work within a friendly and professional team that is proud of the quality of the service it delivers to its clients.
