Are you looking for a job as a Senior Flood Risk Engineer?   Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per year   Our client is looking for a Senior Flood Risk Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. The role offers the chance to lead on projects, work in a multi-disciplinary environment and have ownership over your career development.   You would be responsible for the development of surface water drainage strategy designs for proposed development sites, incorporating sustainable drainage techniques either as part of a Flood Risk Assessment report or a standalone assessment. You would undertake flood risk assessments for various types of projects, including residential, commercial and public sector schemes. You would manage projects which will include the administration, client liaison, quality, fee proposals and budgets. You will prepare and review calculations, technical documents, reports and correspondence, and business plans in accordance with company financial projection targets.   Experience required: ·Section 104 / FRA/drainage strategy experience ·Competent in both microdrainage and AutoCAD ·Some understanding of modern SUDS designs ·Experience with XPsite preferred but not essential. ·Production of studies, assessments and/or conceptual designs for development schemes including drainage, roads, utilities, flooding and sustainability. ·Carrying out detailed design calculations; prepare engineering design drawings, specifications and information. ·Liaison with regulatory bodies including government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, the Environment Agency and other public bodies to deliver the necessary approvals.   What you get in return: ·Excellent benefits package including bonus, pension, holiday etc. ·£42,000 - £50,000 per year salary ·Company provided professional development program. ·Individual progression plan   If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
