JSS Search are delighted to be supporting our client, a successful SME business based in Watford on the recruitment of a new Senior Finance Manager role. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA qualified, audit trained accountant to gain operational month end, commercial accounting and FP&A experience in industry with career progression. The role will be responsible for the accounting for one division, ensuring the integrity of the monthly numbers, reporting, forecasting, supporting the commercial director and ensuring controls are robust and aiding commercial decision making.

The Role:

This exciting Senior Finance Manager position will manage the accounting, analysis and management reporting for one division. Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare the monthly divisional results for the 5 Year rolling profit forecast (including cashflows), Annual Budget and Half Year Reforecast.
• Own the monthly reporting process for the division, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial information.
• Support the production of divisional board reports.
• Prepare ad hoc management information to aid and inform key business decisions.
• Improve and implement the finance divisional process and control frameworks.
• Complete financial due diligence on all tender packages.
• Review contracts to identify key financial, compliance and insurance requirements.
• Support in securing the renewal of the annual insurance policies and ongoing insurance management.
• Preparation of financial planning and scenario modelling as required by the business.

Profile:

• We are looking for a fully ACA qualified, audit trained accountant
• It is essential to have great communication skills, good excel and some modelling skills would be an advantage.
• Experience of month end, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience of Property, Real Estate or Construction an advantage

On Offer:

• Circa £70,000- £84,000 base salary and 10-15% bonus.
• Working in the office based in Watford with some hybrid working
