Senior Environmental Advisor - Bedford

Join a infrastructure project as a Senior Environment Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring environmental considerations are seamlessly integrated into project.

This position involves providing expert guidance and support. We are looking for candidates that have an extensive background in infrastructure with highways projects ideally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on environmental design and construction requirements to the Integrated Project Team.
  • Lead on design assurance, ensuring environmental issues and constraints are prioritised in construction.
  • Manage environmental issues and integrate constraints into project planning and implementation.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders influencing and negotiating to meet environmental requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, including Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework related to environmental management.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding cost delivery, schedule targets, and the need for integrated solutions meeting all functional requirements.
  • Must hold a CSCS
