Senior Commercial Legal Counsel - South BuckinghamshireLocation: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, FMCG sector (50% remote, 50% office-based per month) - easy accessible from sounding countiesSalary: Up to £100k per annum plus car allowance, dual bonus, and benefits (excellent OTE) Position Overview: Our client within the FMCG sector based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire area is now seeking Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to support predominantly across the UK with some work in the EMEA region. You'll work closely with senior management, key account managers, and cross-functional teams, advising on a variety of legal and regulatory matters.Responsibilities:Reviewing, drafting and negotiate B2B supplier and customer contracts.Provide legal and regulatory guidance to senior management and key stakeholders.Support Procurement with contract reviews and negotiations.Handling UK advertising and marketing regulations. Advise on anti-trust, data privacy, industry codes, and advertising regulations.Offer ad hoc employment law advice to the HR team.Develop legal processes, policies, and training materials.Research and create legal briefings and guidance notes.Handle miscellaneous legal queries and manage external counsel as directed.Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister4 years plus of relevant post-qualification experience.Ideally have FMCG, Consumer Goods or Retail sector exposure, ideally in a multinational setting.Strong UK contract law background, with effective negotiation skillsUnderstanding of European and US legal systems would be an advantage.IP licensing knowledge and experience.Exposure to e-commerce regulations would be preferable.Familiarity with UK Bribery Act, FCPA, Modern Slavery Act, and UK Competition Law.Experience with UK advertising and marketing regulations.Cross-functional matrix organisation experience.Pragmatic and risk-based approach.Excellent communication and persuasion skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Salary/Benefits:Competitive base salary up to £100,000 per annum, plus car allowance, dual bonus and benefits.Hybrid working arrangement, with a good split of office and remote working on offer.Supportive and inclusive work environment.How to Apply:If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity, please submit your CV via the job advert or for further information please contact Chris Ewles on (phone number removed) or at chris.ewles @(url removed)LHH Recruitment Solutions acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
