Senior Building Surveyor in Manchester

Our client is looking for a senior building surveyor to join their team in the North West and North East regions. With opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors. This role is a hybrid role with it being a mix of site working, home working and office working from the Manchester or North Tyneside office bases.As a senior building surveyor you will be joining a diverse multi-disciplinary team, you'll work with colleagues who have different levels of experience and qualifications. As well as building on your existing technical expertise, you'll get the opportunity to further develop team leadership, management and business development skills.Key responsibilities:Lead and develop detailed briefs in collaboration with the client and senior colleaguesEstablish and maintain positive client relationshipsSupport business development activities by senior colleaguesCarry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis)Undertake design and specification work and assist with preparing tender informationAssist with administering building contractsYou will need: BSc in Building Surveying or equivalentMRICS or MCIOB, or similar is preferredHave experience of advising on commercial properties either in a Building Surveying or Building Control environmentGood Auto CAD skills and ability to work with new software and platforms to improve efficiencyFull UK Driving LicenceOn offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
