Senior Building Surveyor in Cannock

Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor to help service current demand and help expand revenue targets for the team.

As the ideal candidate you will be qualified or QBE and be confident of working independently on a range of Building Surveys, Acquisition Surveys, Dilapidations, Contract administrations and Building Defect reports.

Your role will involve:

• Oversee and assist with the delivery of Building Surveying, Acquisition Surveys, Dilapidations, Contract administrations and Building Defect reports.
• Oversee the technical design aspects of new build and refurbishment projects. Translate key issues from acquisition surveys. Understand how they impact design and clients requirements /drivers.
• Develop client briefs, set appropriate fees, and ensure cost control until project or commission completion.
• Deliver the divisions fee targets as well as any personal objectives.
• Provide guidance and deliver complicated instructions.
• Responsible for compliance and process improvement, ensuring all division members have the skills for their roles.
• Be an inspiring leader and manager of the division, promoting high performance from all team members, communicating regularly via team meetings and other means.
• Have a holistic approach when planning, managing and delivering projects.
