Senior AuditorContract Length - 3 monthsPay Rate - £21.98 per hour (inside IR35)Location - South ShieldsRole Type - hybridDescription - Our client is looking to fill a short-term vacancy in their Internal Audit Team and are looking for an experienced candidate to help deliver their 24/25 audit plan which covers a wide spectrum of services.Responsibilities - Undertake audits and investigations in line with agreed Internal Audit (PSIAS compliant) procedures. Drafting clear and concise terms of reference and agreeing them with Heads of Service and Senior Managers. Drafting clear and concise audit reports taking into account the scope and objectives of the audit. Lead audits where the supervision, direction and training of junior members of staff is required. Review the files and provide feedback to junior members of staff. Represent Internal Audit on project boards, working parties, etc, as and when required. Present audit reports to Heads of Service and Senior Managers. Deputise for Principal Auditors where required. Keeping up to date with developments in governance, risk management, control and internal auditing.
