Main Function of Role:
The Federated Hermes Infrastructure team, part of the wider Private Markets platform, manages over £2bn of infrastructure commitments via the flagship Federated Hermes Diversified Infrastructure fund (“FHDIF”) and various other mandates.Historically, we have invested on behalf of clients primarily in mature UK infrastructure assets that aim to generate stable, inflation-linked long term income with low to moderate volatility. Our portfolio consists of large, direct investments in 11 different companies across a broad range of infrastructure sectors.
Federated Hermes was a founding signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. EOS at Federated Hermes, for which the Infrastructure team work closely, is a world-class stewardship service with over $1 trillion of assets under advice. The Infrastructure team has a market leading reputation for its responsible investment activities.
The role is primarily within the Investment team, but working closely with the Asset Management and Investor Relations teams. The main activities in the role will include:
We are looking for a candidate with an interest in infrastructure investment, who enjoys building meaningful relationships, working in an agile and dynamic manner and is open to taking on progressively more responsibility for delivering team objectives.
The role will require substantial interaction with the existing investment team (currently 13 investment professionals and 2 executive assistants), as well as the Hermes GPE COO Office (Finance, Tax and Legal).
