Acoustic Consultant in London

Vella Recruitment are working exclusively on behalf of an EXCITING, MARKET-LEADING, Central London-based SME Environmental Consultancy who are looking for people with 3-6 years' Acoustic experience to join their GROWING team.

Our client has an outstanding reputation for working on a huge variety of London and the UK's most exciting projects. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Acoustic Consultants from the Junior to Associate level.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct noise and vibration surveys using a variety of equipment and methodologies.
• Develop acoustic models (IMMI) and prepare detailed noise impact assessments.
• Write high-quality, comprehensive reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with and support the development of junior staff.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Demonstrable experience of successfully managing projects in a consultancy environment.
• Considerable time management experience.
• Experience of producing proposals, marketing materials and business development experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Acoustic Engineering, Noise and Vibration, (or other similar)
• Masters in a related subject preferable.
• Industry experience in Acoustic Consulting.
• Associate/Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA)
• Extensive knowledge of noise and vibration survey techniques.
• Strong project management experience, including budgeting and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
