Senior Account Executive in Glasgow

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent commercial broker in Scotland who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join their team.

You'll be based from their Perth or Glasgow office.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions and maintaining high standards of service.

You will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring client satisfaction through effective account management and strategic advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice and tailored insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Prepare and present proposals, reports, and renewal documentation.
• Negotiate terms with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Account Executive within the commercial insurance sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance products, markets, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Professional qualifications such as CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving business growth and client satisfaction.
